Texas State Aquarium

So, in order to celebrate our one-month of marriage, we went to the local aquarium - Texas State Aquarium. It was great, and we both really enjoyed it! We saw all of the animals you would expect to see at an aquarium, but we also saw birds, a unique type of cat, and mice. Nearby, the USS Lexington allowed for a nice background. We will probably end up going to visit the boat before we leave Corpus Christi.

Engagement Party for Friends

2 weeks into our marriage, Dan and Theresa had an engagement party. Theresa was a bridesmaid in our wedding and became engaged to her boyfriend that same night. We were invited to the party and decided that we would really enjoy a road trip. So we drove up to Houston, spent some time with family, got lost on the way to the party, and had a blast once we arrived. We sat with the groom's very small family, which was fun for me (Rach) because I was friends with Daniel in college and had not met his family!

We are looking forward to their wedding on Sept. 6th.
Unfortunately, D and T were floating throughout the place at the party, so i have not a single picture of the two of them. I'll have to post better pictures from their wedding.
